Rae Law, "The Chrysalis Project", coming autumn 2024

Headshot of author, Rae Law

I write lots of stories about lots of things for all age groups, but I love writing for children the best!

Rae Law is a passionate storyteller and a lover of all things mysterious and adventurous. With a background in science and a lifelong fascination with science fiction and fantasy, Law crafts stories that not only entertain but also provoke thought and inspire the imagination. "The Chrysalis Project" is her debut novel, born from a love of exploring the unknown and the belief that the most extraordinary things lie just beyond the edge of curiosity.

Growing up in Eastern Canada, Rae spent countless hours reading and daydreaming about worlds filled with wonder, danger, and friendship. This passion for storytelling was diverted while she pursued her university studies, but she’s always strived to hone the craft of bringing characters and their journeys to life.

Rae is an advocate for neurodiversity, drawing inspiration from personal experiences to create characters like Alex, whose vibrant energy and perspective illuminate the pages of "The Chrysalis Project." Through writing, she aims to celebrate the strengths and challenges of individuals who see the world differently.

When not writing, Rae can be found transporting her twin daughters to extra-curriculars, washing muddy Saluki feet, and riding horses. She’s always on the lookout for the next adventure. She believes that stories are the key to understanding ourselves and each other and hopes to continue sharing tales that resonate with readers of all ages.

Rae Law is excited to share "The Chrysalis Project" with the world and looks forward to taking readers on an unforgettable journey through the mysteries of Greenwood Falls.
